Intermediate Hardware Designer
Do you want to work with a team that has a fun, family atmosphere? Do you value quality of life as well as making a difference in your work? Do you enjoy collaborating on award-winning designs? Then this may be the right opportunity for you.
Our engineers work alongside a great team of mechanical, acoustic, software, and hardware developers creating works class electronics for a wide range of markets, including Rugged Video Systems, Audiophile/Consumer, and Telecom. And we work in a spectacular, 8,000-square-foot historic building with a mid-century modern decor in the picturesque heritage setting of Arnprior (30 minutes from Ottawa). It is a truly unique place.
If you have a passion for electronic design, enjoy working independently or as part of a small team, get excited about the path to a great design, and take satisfaction in getting the job done, you could be a great fit for this job. We value experience in schematic capture, PCB layout tools, simulation (analog, digital, video, signal integrity) and power supply design.
In particular, you would be a good fit if you have 5+ years of experience in detailed hardware design, can proficiently operate general lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies and waveform generators, and have a passion for embedded design, including microcontrollers, memory interfaces, FPGA, PCle Video, serial interfaces, and audio amplifiers.
